there is no break from the hype, my friends. Electronic Arts has started teasing the trailer for the upcoming Command & Conquer Remastered collection on YouTube with its first live video.
Command & Conquer started as a franchise in 1995 as a real-time strategy game developed by Westwood Studios. He has had a handful of publishers over the years, including Virgin Interactive, Sega, Nintendo and of course Electronic Arts. Currently, development is with EA Redwood Studios after joining the EA family of Westwood about seventeen years ago.
Overall, there have been 22 releases in the franchise to date (if you count the extensions), this next remastered collection being the 23rd. Most of them have even been good games, which not all franchises can say!
Electronic Arts Teases Upcoming Command & Conquer Remastered Collection Trailer On YouTube
The video that EA uploaded to YouTube is currently just a cover of the game with an hourly countdown to the full premiere of the trailer. In the description, EA declares as follows:
“It’s time for your first in-depth look at the Remastered Command & Conquer collection, with both Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert and their three expansion packs!”
Now this is a collection large enough to be certain! Red Alert was first released in 1996 as the second game in the franchise, released in the same year as the Covert Operations expansion for the first title. Red Alert would also spawn the Counterstrike and Aftermath extensions, as well as two additional sequel directly to the title. The Tiberian series is also very popular, with quite a few titles to add to the collection.
These games were also (for the most part) released over twenty years ago, so it will be amazing to see them updated to modern standards and graphics. We recently saw the release of Command & Conquer: Rivals in 2018, which brought a new touch
